:Hello, My groups name is The Power of three and in the group we have Aira,Emily,and I. 

:For PBL we have chosen Homelessness as it is a big issue in the world.

Homelessness can be caused by anything Homelessness can be caused by Bad relationships, Poverty, Drugs and alcohol, mental health issues, not having a job,and not having enough money for a house, and many many more.

To help with homelessness we will volunteer at an organisation that already helps the homeless and we will go out and hand out food,water and other items.

We will reach out to Salvation Army we will also reach out to Christchurch city mission,etc to find out what their greatest needs are. 

We want to make the homeless less hungry and we will do this by working with Christchurch city mission and making food finding homeless people and giving and serving the food to the homeless.

Market day

For Market day we have been writing a letter to Mrs Elley, for a small loan to start of our business. We have also been making business cards and posters and been putting them up around the school to advertise our business. We wrote a list of ingredients we needed and sent the list to Mrs Gibson. We made a slideshow and sent it to a teacher to advertise on a school TV so people can see what we're making.

Overall we learn't how to write a formal letter, We learn't that it's hard to work in groups and come up with an original Idea but there's still time to learn from our mistakes.

In English today I was reading funny texts on Pinterest.

In English I was writing a story about a baby who lived in a little cottage in the wood's with her family.And I was also drawing a picture.

My holidays

My holiday was really fun and boring I went to time zone with my mum and sister. On Friday I went to my friends house for two nights. At time zone I was really bad at the games but it was fun so I didn't care if I was bad. At my friends house we went to the super market to get food I also really enjoyed sleeping in. But it was boring some days because we didn't do anything but on though's days we watched movies one day I watched me Earl and the dying girl it was really sad but it was a good movie.

Abomination review

In English we were reading Abomination by Robert Swindells.

The book is about a young girl named Martha who get's beaten by her farther. Martha has no friends she get bullied at school and gets called Ma or Raggedy-Ann or Arthur and she doesn't like it. She gets bullied at school because she is Righteous and she doesn't have this years clothes that are brought from the shop her mother makes them so she gets bullied about it. One day there was a new boy who started at her school and they ended up becoming best friends and he was Martha's only friend and she tells him everything that nobody else knows.

My opinion of the book: I think the book Abomination is a really good book and I think it's very interesting.
