A Tropical storm also known as a Typhoon or Hurricane occurs in warm oceans with winds that reach 270/km. They are normally found on the North and south side of the equator. Winds can reach up to 270/km which can cause buildings to be destroyed and jobs to be lost, many people died in the Hurricane and people should take precautions when one is near. Tropical storms can bring flooding and lots of rain, they are very dangerous and people should get as far away as possible from them.

What makes a home earthquake proof
Aim: To make a earthquake proof house.
Research: There is no structure that is fully earthquake proof but concrete walls with steel bars in them can reduce movement. Hollow concrete bricks designed to cause minimal damage if they fall in another earthquake.
Equipment:
-4 Pieces of paper
-4 Cotton buds
-6 Thin sticks
-6 Popsicle sticks
-3 small+ 1 large egg
-2 plastic cups
-Scissors+ Tape
Results
-was it the tallest No
-Did it look the best YES
- WAS IT EARTHQUAKE PROOF??? YES
- Was it successful? Why/ why not? I think it was successful, It fell but oh well.
