26/10/18 Year 10- What makes a home earthquake proof?

What makes a home earthquake proof
Aim: To make a earthquake proof house.
Research: There is no structure that is fully earthquake proof but concrete walls with steel bars in them can reduce movement. Hollow concrete bricks designed to cause minimal damage if they fall in another earthquake.

Equipment:
-4 Pieces of paper
-4 Cotton buds
-6 Thin sticks
-6 Popsicle sticks 

-3 small+ 1 large egg
-2 plastic cups
-Scissors+ Tape 

Results
-was it the tallest No
-Did it look the best YES
- WAS IT EARTHQUAKE PROOF??? YES
- Was it successful? Why/ why not? I think it was successful, It fell but oh well.
